Summary of the project
Decarnation is an indie horror game. I work as a Level, Game and Narrative designer. Quentin De Beukelaer is my internship mentor for 6 months as my final internship of my Master’s degree in game design. I’ve made levels, mechanics, puzzles, cinematics, QA, writing and implementations so far.

My work as Level Designer
I had a lot of fun with the tools I had at my disposal and created a whole narrated level with a lot of puzzles and challenges telling the struggle of the main character. There is a full layout of the dungeon :
This is my first big work as a Level Designer and working with my College teacher on his own project really gave me the time to learn by his side and improve on what I’ve been taught at IIM. I really enjoy the simplicity of iterations that a 2D game offers on Unity. The creative freedom I have with Atelier QDB let’s me try all the things I’m curious about and let me take the time to specialise.
